I found this site that is so much fun. How well do you know your world? You are timed on how long it takes you to find a city or land mark in the world, you click on the map and it will show you how close your guess was.
I reached level 6 out of 12. I am not a geography wiz at all. The faster you find the place the more points. The closest i came to a location was 17km.

Year of the Golden Pig

It is the Year of the Golden Pig. According to Chinese Folklore, this is an event that occurs once in every 600 years and will ensure that a baby born on this year will experience a prosperous and wealthy life. Although it is Chinese Folklore, many of the Asian cultures follow this belief as they celebrate their New Year. The Chinese New Year begins Feb 7, 2008.

How much do you spend on food?

I found this site that has images of families from around the world and shows all the food that each family comsumes in one week. It lists how much money the family spends each week.
This is very humbling to see the last family and how much they have for one week.
